The Coquille Valley Art Association is a non-profit organization that was established in 1950. A short time later the group purchased the old Valley View School, a two classroom schoolhouse built in 1927 just one and a half miles southeast of Coquille.

Many creative art forms are represented and classes are given weekly or as special workshops. Workshops are open to the public. Memberships are available and we offer member discounts for workshops and special classes. The Art Center has members from all over Coos, Curry and Douglas counties.

The public is invited to visit the gallery or join a class. All classes are designed to accommodate the artist from beginner to advanced. In addition, workshops by visiting artists are held throughout the year. Class days and times may vary so please call the instructor for more information.

Have some fun and ignite your creativity in an inspiring setting!

Our Mission Statement:
The objective of this association is to dedicate its resources to promote, educate and assist the expression, development and awareness of the arts and artist throughout the community.
